I have been in love with a particular style called a “Pake Muu.” This Asian dress usually features a mandarin collar and split large sleeves.
After a generous trade from a mutual polynesian pattern collector, I was given a copy of the Polynesian pattern #130. You can find a digital copy on etsy here.
The measurements for my dress indicated a size small, but after measuring the pattern, it appeared like the small would really fit a medium or large so I went ahead and started my muslin! I had just enough of the mum fabric to try out this fun pattern.
Here is the progress of the pattern without the decorative knots and missing a sleeve. I am so close to finishing it and cant wait to try it on!
