Tea Timer Asian Tunic Dress

The Tea Timer

As you may be aware, I am obsessed with Polynesian patterns. I have been not so slowly adding to my ever growing vintage pattern collection. Several months ago, a friend and I did a pattern trace swap. With that, I was able to get a hand made copy of a long tunic tea timer pattern.

These vintage patterns are not very easy to read but I was ready to dive in with a bolt of Japanese crane fabric I got from my local store. I looked online for more of this fabric but have so far had no success. It is called Hanabi by Hana for QH Fabrics. If you find more let me know!!

It features beautiful cranes with a gold overlay that shines with ice blue bamboo accents. I only have enough yardarge to create a few more of the tea timers or a pake muu. If you would like a pake muu in this fabric you can get one here.

Below is the final product of the tea timer. I am in love! I have this sample medium for sale, and only enough fabric to make two more in customizable sizes. You can get your very own tea timer here. And I hope to make some pants to match soon!
